Coke And It’s Damaging Effects
The United States ranks first among countries in soft drink consumption. It is really disturbing to see Coke and other soft drinks still on the market today. I often see people guzzling down a can of Coke in the morning to start their day. It is quite disturbing. If they really knew what they were drinking, a healthier choice would be selected. In many states, the highway patrol carries 2 gallons of Coke in the trunk of their cruiser, not to drink, but remove blood from the highway after a car accident. What could possibly be in this Coke?
If you put a steak in a bowl of Coke it will be gone in 2 days. To clean corrosion from a car’s battery terminals pour a can of Coke over it to bubble away the corrosion. To loosen a rusted bolt, apply a cloth soaked in Coke to the rusted bolt for several minutes and it will loosen it. To clean a stained toilet, pour Coke into the toilet and let it set for an hour, then flush it clean. Coke will loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze off of your windshield. What is in this Coke?
By now, I think we can all agree that Coke is a recipe for disease. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its PH is 2.8. It leeches calcium from bones and is major contributor to the rise of osteoporosis. It can cause an increase of fat build up around the liver and skeletal muscles contributing to insulin resistance and diabetes. Weight gain and accelerated aging are other side effects. The caramel color in Coke is an additive, which is chemically processed. We must also consider the aluminum can, which is lined with Bisphenol A (BPA). This is used to keep the acid from the Coke from reacting to the metal.
Most soft drinks have basically the same ingredients. When you know better, you do better. So let’s make better drink choices starting today for yourself and your family.
The decision is yours!
