Green Tea Ice Cream
Ingredients:
1 cup of soaked cashews
1 cup of raw almond mylk
½ cup of organic spinach
1/3 cup of raw agave nectar
¼ cup of organic coconut oil (melted)
1 tsp of organic vanilla extract
¼ tsp of sea salt
½ cup of chamomile tea
Method:
Brew 1 chamomile tea bag in ½ cup of filtered water. Let it set for 15-20 minutes. Put all ingredients in the blender including the chamomile tea. Blend until smooth and creamy. Put in the freezer and stir every hour until frozen to desired consistency or pour mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Tip:
Cuisinart makes a great ice cream maker that is very easy to use. To melt the coconut oil just use your dehydrator at a higher temperature greater than 115 degrees. Serves 2
