No Bake Raw Pecan Pie Recipe
Crust
2 cups on raw organic pecans soaked and dehydrated
1 cup of organic raisins
1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
Place ingredients in a food processor and pulse until all ingredients are well mixed. The nuts should be well broken down. The crust should stick together. Remove any crust forming on the sides. Press into a glass pie plate. Do not mix too long making the dough very oily and too soft to hold a shape
Filling
1cup of raw organic pecans soaked and dehydrated
1 cup of soft medjool dates
1/2 cup of organic grade B maple syrup
1/2 cup of organic coconut butter
1 tablespoon of organic vanilla extract
Optional: 1/4 cup of chia seeds
Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth stopping to scrape down the sides. Pour evenly into the crust. For the topping, chop up about 3/4 cup of raw organic soaked and dehydrated pecans in a mini food processor and sprinkle to cover the whole top of the pie. Cover and place in the freezer to set for a couple of hours and serve!
