Raw Red Pepper Hummus
RAW RED PEPPER HUMMUS
Ingredients:
2 cups of Dried Garbanzo beans
¼ cup of Lemon Juice
½ cup of Organic Red Pepper
½ teaspoon of Cumin
½ teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
2 cloves of Garlic (minced)
¼ cup of Organic Parsley (chopped)
1/3 cup to Organic Tahini
A dash of Paprika (optional)
A splash of Organic Extra Virgin Olive oil (optional)
Method:
Soak Garbanzo beans at least 24 hours. If you soak them for less time, they will be too hard to use.
Use a food processor with the “S” blade to process the soaked Garbanzo beans for about 1 minute. Add the tahini and minced garlic and continue processing for about one minute. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the parsley and paprika and process until a creamy consistency is reached. Garnish with chopped parsley, extra virgin olive oil and paprika. Enjoy with your favorite raw veggies!
